Today is World Book Day. It is such a shame we aren’t all celebrating it together but in the Summer Term we will celebrate together and dress up as our favourite characters.

Story Book Quiz

Let’s start our English off with a story book quiz! There are 20 questions to answer. When you have completed the quiz, can you please send them to me. There will be prizes for completing the quiz when you return to school on Monday.

Next, can you jump into the shoes of your favourite book character. Who would you be? I think I would be Goldilocks because I like being nosey! Can you draw your favourite book character and explain why they are your favourite.

Task: Can you write 5 question sentences that you would like to ask your favourite book character. Remember what do questions sentences need at the end?

Maths

You have all worked tremendously hard with your Maths work so today, can you complete these problems using your knowledge and understanding of numbers up to 50.

Spend the rest of your day reading books and exploring your favourite stories. You could even complete some role play with people in your family.

Join me for a story, today!
