As this week is Children’s Mental Health Week, I would like you to choose a sports activity which you enjoy.

Here are some ideas,

  1. Go for a nice walk with your family.
  2. Use a pair of rolled up socks to practice throwing. You could try to throw them into a basket or hit a target and give yourself a point each time you hit the target. How many points can you score in a minute?
  3. Set up a circuit, like we have been doing in out PE lessons. How many times can you complete the circuit?
  4. Set up an obstacle course.
  5. Learn a Just Dance or Kids Bop routine.
  6. How many times can you nutmeg a chair in a minute? Kick a ball through the legs of a chair as many times as you can in a minute.
  7. Use your body to create each letter of the alphabet. Just like you did your names in PE.
  8. Play ‘the floor is lava.’
