This week is Safer Internet Week:

Watch and listen to Newsround to find out more about being safe online.

https://www.bbc.co.uk/newsround/55982531

Reading:

If you would like a book from school, please let me know and I will get one ready for you to collect.

Please can you keep recording in your child’s Home Reading record so we can continue to achieve 3 reads a week. If you could email a picture of your child’s Home Reader, at the end of the week so I can make a note of their reads, that would be great!

Thank you for your continued support,

Mrs Kentfield-Howe

As it is Valentines Day on Sunday. let’s create and learn by heart a poem and perform it to the person you love. It could be your Mum, Dad, Nanna, a friend. Whoever you choose I’m sure they will love to hear your poem.

Choose the rhyming poem or the acrostic poem. Which have you enjoyed the most, this week?

Can you finish off the rhyming words at the end of the poem or make up your own? Don’t forget to give your poem a ‘Title’.

Acrostic Poem:

Can you create your own using the word ‘LOVE’ or practise saying and performing my version. It is up to you, today!

Task 3. Reading comprehension.
