A pinch, a punch, for the first of the month. Happy February guys. The shortest month of the year. Only 4 weeks left till March. I hope you enjoyed your learning on Friday, I thought you might of liked something a little different. Keep working hard and enjoy your learning this week.

This week is Mental Health week, we will be completing daily activities throughout the week and then on Friday we will be having a technology free day and celebrating rainbow day. Please check Marvellous Me to find out more information about this.

SPAG (15 minutes): Its and It’s

After looking at your writing last week, I have noticed that some people are making some minor mistake with its and it’s. Today we will be looking at how to use its and it’s in the correct context. Complete the following task below.

Writing (45 minutes): To create a setting description

This week you are going to create a setting description using the five senses. Each day you will focus on a different sense and create a detailed paragraph about the setting using that sense. You will choose one of the three pictures below and today you will describe what you can smell. Once you have picked a picture, use the video below to help you.

Log onto Marvellous Me and look at the Children’s Mental Health week task I have set for today. It is a really nice one and I would love to see all of your wonderful pictures of you ‘expressing yourself’.
