Friday 12th February
Good Morning, Class 2!
Screen Free Day!
As Children’s Mental Health week was such a success and much needed, we are encouraging you to have a non-screen day each Friday. Switch off devices and enjoy your day.
A message from your teachers:
Hello Class 2,
Today is Friday and that means we now have a week off school for half term. Please watch the video’s below and listen to the message from myself and Mrs Darby. I am so incredibly proud of each and every one of you this half term, you have worked your socks off. I know it has been tricky at times to concentrate and work at home but you all have tried so hard.
Today is a no technology day again so I would like you to choose some of the activities from below as well as doing your spellings.
I hope you all have a fabulous day and have lots of fun.
Have a wonderful half term everyone, you deserve it!
Mrs Kentfield-Howe and Mrs Darby
Can you get someone to do your spellings with you.
Activities that you may wish to participate in are…
- Help make breakfast for yourself and your family.
- Wrap up warm and take a walk outside. How many things can you see that start with the letters of the alphabet.
- Read your favourite book. Can you make a story telling sack? Add objects or draw pictures to retell the story.
- As it is Valentines Day on Sunday, can you make a card for someone you love?
- Relax and watch a movie.
If you would like to come on Zoom to finish off our story of ‘The Ugly Ducking’ and see how the story ends. I will leave the 2pm afternoon session on.
Mrs Kentfield-Howe is inviting you to a scheduled Zoom meeting.
